It all started back in 1971, when parents Sofia and Nick Cotsoglou began manufacturing high-fashion jeans for 70’s icon brands like Staggers, Faberge, Jag, Jag Junior, Blues Union, Marcel Dachet, Miss Shop & Yakka.

Through the 80’s and 90’s, their Melbourne manufacturing plant had grown into a Denim mecca, making the highest quality Denim products for Saba, Lee, Bettina Liano, Marcs of Sydney, Anthea Crawford, Hard Yakka, AG, Scanlan & Theodore, Stussy, Mossimo, Freshjive, Husk, Country Road & YSL.

It was only natural that the lads would grow up with Denim flowing through their veins. By the ages of 16 and 18 they were in charge of production, packing orders and delivering the highest quality finished product to their customers.

In 2005, ML Denim was born.

With the keys to their parent’s factory in hand, the lads began creating their own style of Luxury Designer denim. Made in Melbourne, in the very same factory their parents had established, the lads have lived and breathed denim ever since.

Obsessively perfecting their skills in the art of Luxury Jeans wear, the lads are now masters in the creation of unique hand-abraised Denim washes & textures. The rarest selection of fabrics & a huge range of new Denim styles is what makes M.L Denim unique.

ML Denim has captured the imagination of the fashion movement from its iconic Greville Street store. With a rapidly growing wholesaling arm led by Irene, ML Denim is fast expanding across Australia’s hottest fashion boutiques, in Asia and beyond, cementing its reputation as Australia’s leading Luxury Denim label.
